- Do you make specials with unusual requirements?
The unusual is the usual at Linn Gear. Linn Gear has one of the most diverse
manufacturing facilities available in the mechanical power transmission
industry. Custom made-to-order products are our specialty.
- Can I send to Linn Gear a sample sprocket or gear for identification?
Yes! The experienced personnel at Linn Gear can be of great assistance to you
in identifying, pricing, and manufacturing gears and sprockets that are worn
out, broken or of unknown specification for some other reason.
- Can you make sprockets and gears from plastic, nylon, laminated phenolic, or
some other material?
Yes! We back our capabilities with a huge inventory of raw material stock
including Carbon Steel, Stainless, Alloy Steel, Nylon, Bronze, Phenolic, and
other materials.
- Can you make metric gears?
Linn Gear has the ability to manufacture metric (module) gears, diametral and
circular pitch gears as well as many non-standard pitch gears.
- Can you make metric sprockets?
Yes! Linn Gear has the capability to manufacture metric sprockets on a made-
to-order basis.

- What are your operating hours?
We operate 3 continuous shifts, running 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Saturday and Sunday by special arrangement.
- Do you make stainless steel products?
Linn Gear has been manufacturing Stainless Steel power transmission
products for over 30 years. We carry the most extensive stock line of stainless
steel sprockets in the industry. Many sizes and types of sprockets, gears,
collars and bushings are in stock, ready for delivery. Look on pages 101
