Helical and Herringbone Gears Helical Gears: Steel helical gears in 16, 12, 10, 8 and 6 Transverse Diametral Pitch, 14 ½° Normal Pressure Angle, 45° Helix Angle stocked with and without hubs. Type A (no hub) stocked finished bore only. Type B (with hub) stocked in finished bore and for re-boring. All have hardened teeth and are refinished after heat treating for improved accuracy and durability. Sizes not available from stock can usually be made-to-order.
