Keys, Split Hubs and Shafts Tapered Keys: Plain and gib head from 1/4" through 1-1/2" Split Hubs for Roller Chain and Mill Chain Sprockets: We stock a variety of semi-finished hubs for building split sprocket assemblies. These hubs are heavy duty, precision machined steel. They have been pre-drilled for socket-head cap screws and are ready to weld. Splitting is to be carried out after assembly. Split Assemblies: Practically any product we manufacture can be provided in a split style on a made-to-order basis. We have substantial expertise in the manufacture of these products. Accuracy of the finished product will vary with the process used varying anywhere from precision, fully machined splits to rough, sawed splits. These processes can be quite time consuming and expensive but may well save enough installation time to make it worth while. Detachable Hubs: For ease of assembly and in making critical timing adjustments, we can produce sprocket and hub assemblies which can be radially adjusted at installation. Sprockets, hubs or both may be split if desired. Shafts: In our Grinding Center, we can produce shafts with ground surfaces of the highest accuracy and finish.
