Ready Sprockets and Hubs ECONOMY         CONVIENIENCE                     QUALITY Ready Sprockets are an assortment of sprockets and hubs drilled and tapped for simple, convenient assembly with standard hex head cap screws. For No. 35 through No. 100 Chain, with stock finished bore hubs to accomodate shaft sizes through 2-3/4" diameter, plus a variety of square, hex, spline, and tapered key bores. NOW INCLUDING NEW! DSR HUBS FOR DOUBLE-SINGLE OR COMPOUND SPROCKETS MANY SPROCKETS NOW AVAILABLE WITH HARDENED TEETH READY SPROCKETS AND HUBS are assembled with hex head cap screws and a wrench. We guarantee these sprockets to perform as well as solid or welded sprockets when properly assembled and installed. The unretouched photo below shows the shearing of the key that occured when the assembly was subjected to extreme overload, illustrating that the strength of a READY SPROCKET compared to a solid or welded sprocket is not an issue. The key will shear before the bolts will break. Sprockets are available for No. 35 through No. 100 roller chain. In addition to standard round bores we stock single-shoulder hubs with square, hex, and splined bores and with tapered keyways. New, double shoulder hubs provide additional flexibility and utility. Many sizes are also available now with our standard high quality heat treating of the teeth, yielding substantial economic value. READY SPROCKETS are cost effective to purchase, replace, and inventory. Since the hubs don't have to be replaced when the sprocket wears out, replacement cost is as little as half the original cost.
